Chapter 2Verse 38
Sankhya Yoga
सुखदुःखे समे कृत्वा लाभालाभौ जयाजयौ। ततो युद्धाय युज्यस्व नैवं पापमवाप्स्यसि॥
sukha-duḥkhe same kṛtvā lābhālābhau jayājayau, tato yuddhāya yujyasva naivaṁ pāpam avāpsyasi
Meaning
This is practical advice before a practical task. Don't wait for the odds to feel fair or the outcome to feel certain. Treat both directions of the result the same way, and then simply do the work in front of you.
Treat winning and losing the same. Then just do the work in front of you.
